Be prepared for a holiday packed with plenty of fun activities in Brisbane. The more adventurous travellers should go on a guided climb of the impressive 80 metre high Story Bridge. Here you can enjoy some of the most breath-taking views of the city. If you don’t fancy such an adrenaline rush then go on the Wheel of Brisbane instead, which offers 360 degree views of the city.

One of the city’s popular attractions is the gorgeous City Botanic Gardens. You will feel a world away from the skyscrapers and the busy city amongst a diverse collection of trees. There are free guided walks you can go on that last around an hour. Brisbane has plenty of parks and green spaces, including Roma Street Parkland where you can walk amongst the gorgeous flowers and also Southbank Parklands which is also very popular.

Other big attractions include Newstead House where you can go back in time and see the oldest house in the city. There’s also the rather impressive St John's Cathedral, it’s a key landmark in the city with stunning stain glass windows and beautiful architecture.

Lots of tourists head to South Bank where there are some lovely pubs and restaurants as well as some great shopping and attractions. There’s also a picturesque inner-city beach if you want to sit, back, relax and unwind in the sunshine.

Don’t miss the insanely cute Koala’s at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where you can hug koalas and feed kangaroos. For a spooky experience try the infamous Brisbane Ghost Tours where you will hear terrifying tales and walk through the streets with a lantern. It's not for the faint hearted. Those who like water sports will love all the water sports activities available at The Brisbane River including kayaking and paddle boarding.
