Fly first class from the UK to Lagos and discover one of Africa’s largest and busiest port cities for yourself.

With plenty to see and do, including a diverse culinary scene and exciting nightlife, Lagos is a perfect destination to get a feel for Africa, whether visiting for business or pleasure.

The city itself is made up of a number of islands, which are connected by bridges and separated by creeks (in fact, the word Lagos is Portuguese for ‘lakes’.)

Each of these islands has something different to offer, whether it be clubs and bars at Bar Beach, shopping at Victoria Island, or the markets and museums of Lagos Island.

It’s a very modern and culturally vibrant city, with a diverse population and exotic music scene and various museums such as the Black Heritage Museum and Nigerian Football Museum to visit.

In terms of weather, Lagos has a tropical wet and dry climate, with average highs of 29°C during winter and 25°C in summer.

The airport in Lagos is about 14 miles north-west of the city centre, and the drive can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, depending upon the traffic, which can get pretty bad.

The easiest and safest way to make the journey is via taxi, so look out for the official Metro and Red Cab services, or book a driver ahead of your arrival.

Why Fly First Class?
